A Kitty Litter Pan Solution for Senior Cats

Hello,
I wanted to share a great find for cats with arthritis. My kitty is 19 years old, and over the years has developed arthritis, which comes along with aging. As a result, she has had some trouble getting in and out of her litter box. She just can't be hopping over the traditional cat litter boxes anymore. Her veterinary doctor suggested that I find a lower litter pan to make her stops at the litter easier on her. So I was on the hunt last week and was happy to discover a nice one. You know where I found this litter pan?? Not in the cat section of my local pet store, but in THE DOG SECTION! Yup, I was pretty surprised and didn't know that such a thing existed. A Litter Pan For Dogs?? ?What! Turns out, it is much lower than the traditional cat litter pans and is much better for my kitty. She has no problems getting in and out. No more hopping over high litter pans for her little old bones! Yay! There are also better cat litters out there now. I have discovered two litters that are healthier for cats, Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Senior Litter, and Health Meter. The Precious Cat Senior Litter is for senior, arthritic, overweight, and pregnant cats. It helps prevent Kidney failure, Urinary & Uterine Infections and is very fine to prevent bacterial growth. The Health Meter Cat Litter can detect illness like bladder infections, urinary tract stones or crystals, kidney problems, and liver disease. All these cat products can be found at PETSMART and PETCO. Check them out!
